Life is sweet when all family members are happy, respectful, and enjoying themselves and each other. But how do we weather the lack of sleep, the outbursts, and the rebellion that periodically arise in our children, in our partners, and in our own hearts and minds?

Nonviolent Communication is an approach to life in which we connect to the needs and values that motivate all behavior before we speak or act. Then, when upsets occur, we can intentionally respond with honesty and compassion instead of reacting in ways that can stimulate more pain and disconnection.

Children learn what they see their parents live. But it is not always easy to live in accordance with our values. Join us for a workshop that offers ways to turn conflict into cooperation by exploring skills we can use to live more fully the lives we’ve imagined.

The “Our Children, Ourselves” workshop will be held on Saturday, August 28, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The requested financial contribution for this training is $45-$90 (you decide the highest amount you can contribute with joy and ease). All adults are welcome to attend, regardless of ability to contribute financially and regardless of whether or not there are children currently present in their lives.

Please contact me, Lynd Morris, if you’d like to register for this event or if you have any questions about this training.
