Collaborative Communication for Our Work for Peace and Social Justice, an Introduction to NVC, emphasizing the contributions/practices of , Martin Luther King, Jr., Paulo Freire and economist Max Neef to the needs consciousness of Marshall Rosenberg.

Where: In the Library, Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington, 100 Allison Street NW, Washington, DC (nr. N. Capital and Webster NW, on edge of Rock Creek Cemetery) with Louisa Davis, former UCC minister, professor, antiracism organizer for GWAIR, founder of The Sustainable Activist Community and graduate of year long Bay NVC Leadership and Brooklyn NVC Facilitating Change training programs,

Cost: sliding scale $10 (unemployed/retired)-$75. Limited to 12 participants.

On October 2, in every state, in every country, on every continent, people will gather in empathic listening, connecting, and action so that we may see all beings integrate suffering to become free, fully alive, and resolve differences peacefully.

International Day for Empathic Action (IDEA) Events and Activities will take place all over the world aware of each other to create unity, community, and a world-wide understanding of empathy.
